This is a commissioned piece. Woman’s son and future daughter in-law had vacationed in Santorini, Greece and took a photograph of this sunset view. She asked if I could paint it. She does know that I’m primarily an abstract painter, but wanted me to paint it. With a change of mindset (abstract to impressionism) I took on the project. This is the result. A 24×24 inch acrylic painting, varnished in a satin finish, and framed in a floating frame. Client wanted the lettering on the bottom, and is thrilled with the results.
