This is the first in a series of 8×10 inch acrylic paintings that will be released one each day. Inspired by another artist who did a similar project with 4×4 inch works, I felt it would be an excellent way to test color palettes and explore new techniques. This piece was painted using a limited palette of White, Black, Quinacridone Magenta, and Ultramarine Blue, leaning mostly toward the lighter values of the blue and magenta.
