This is an acrylic painting on a 8×8 inch textured canvas. I used Cobalt blue, Gold, Black and White, blending the hues directly on the surface and on a palette to make different shades, build subtle transitions and unexpected mixes. The paint was applied with a palette knife to create physical structure and to spread the tones unevenly, producing varied textures and dynamic effects across the canvas. Varnished in a gloss finish to give a light sheen and to protect the work. Completed February 2026.
